10 DAYS until IronSkull 2026!

Category 2 – Sci-Fi Squad

For a squad comprising of 5 – 20 miniatures up to 54mm in height not including banners or plinths by any manufacturer. Each miniature must be based on an individual base, these can be sunk into an overall display base but must be removable. Any entry with models fixed to the base will be moved to Category 10 – Scene, Duel, Diorama.

Miniature height is determined by a measurement from foot to eye, details like banners, basing height, plinths and additional details do not come into consideration when determining a miniature height for categories.

Swipe through the carousel to see last year’s incredible winning entries and get inspired for your own competition piece.

🥇 GOLD – Anthony Paul Smith @apsmini_painting with 3 impeccable Dark Angels painted to a stunning finish complimented by a frosted tundra basing theme.

🥈 SILVER – Joe Paine @painosspaints with some super dynamic Aeldari rangers that were painted to a lovely execution.

🥉 BRONZE – Dan Mennell @plus_2_to_paint with grizzled Necromunda Corpse Grinder crew that were super menacing and painted to fantastic standard.

All three of these units were absolutely stunning in hand – photos barely do them justice.

Huge congratulations to Anthony, Joe, and Dan for their incredible work! Make sure you all give them a follow and look at their amazing painting in more detail!
